Yard Sale Trader Ad Information


If you wish to place a free yard sale ad, you need to follow these rules:

1. Email your ad to yardsaletrader@hotmail.com

2. You can send your ad as a text, jpg or a small gif file. It has to fit in an email.

3. Ads can be up to 50 words long. Type it exactly as you want it to appear.

4. You must include your name, address, phone number and email address. The name, phone number and email address will not be printed unless you request it. We value your privacy, so you can be sure this information will never be sold, rented or traded to another company without your permission.

5. Be sure to include the dates and times of your yard sale. If you are selling from a flea market, include your booth number, flea market name and address.

6. No guns, or pornography may be listed in the ad.

7. Dealers must state so in their ads.

8. Free real estate ads or automobile ads can only for your own personal property. Dealers need to email us for the commercial rate.

9. The deadline for Thursday publication is Tuesday, at 6 p.m. Ads will run for 1 week. You must resubmit your ad to run it again the following week.

10. We reserve the right to reject any and all ads.

11. Your ad should follow this general format:

City (all ads will be listed by city first)
Address of the sale (include booth number if a flea market)
Date of the sale, Start hour, end hour.
Articles for sale, for example: Furniture, sofa, table and chairs, lawn furniture, bed and dresser, misc. household and kitchen supplies, computer, monitor, keyboard, stereo equipment, weight lifting equipment, stove, refrig., washer, dryer, fishing equipment, boat, motor, trailer, '89 mustang, runs good, 27" RCA TV, microwave, baby items chain saw, room air conditioner and more.
